Recently, I went to my best friend's(we'll call her E) house for eight days. I had a wonderful time, going to many different restaurants, seeing her friends, playing DDR..
I made E a bracelet that says, "Loved," and she made me a bracelet with hearts on it. She has many more bracelets which cover her forearms like candi gauntlets, but I thought one more wouldn't hurt. Her breast friend(J) also has many bracelets and drives crazily. o.o That's ok, though. I would trust her with my life.
We went to see RENT, my first Broadway play. It was great. Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal, two of the original cast, performed as their original characters, Mark and Roger; I got their autographs on my RENT playbill. As we stood in the crowd waiting for them, you could pass out and not risk a fall. I was hoping the person who played Angel, my favorite character, would come out and sign autographs too, but he never came. Oh well.
I am no longer a virgin... Rocky Horror virgin, that is. E, J, two other friends and me all went to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show. For those unfamiliar with it, it is an experience that you simply cannot pass up in your lifetime. That was one of the most memorable times for me in the trip. After it was over, we went to eat breakfast at 3:00 am.
E's family and I went to the beach. It was a rather nice day, except for the freezing cold water! We had a good time, and afterwards, we went home. Another hour or two goes by, and we drive to Sakura, a Japanese restaurant. E and I had chicken teriyaki with white rice. It was delicious!
The day after, I'm on a plane, on the verge of crying. I was transferred to first class, at least. From 23E to 3A. That didn't comfort me too much, though. The plane lands three hours later. As I reached for my phone to call E, I saw that it didn't have any battery power. I asked both my parents for their phones, but they didn't have any reception. I called her when I got home to let her know of my safety. She had a headache, which saddened me.
My day at work was like most other days, except my mind kept lingering on E and everything connected to her; foods, feelings, experiences, and memories were all going through my head. I couldn't stop thinking of her. I still can't.
At home, now, I find myself miserable. I hurt.
